MEASURE FOR MEASURE Artist Profile: John Leahy

Have you binge-watched anything lately, and if so, what? I have binged The Wire.

What’s something you wish you could do on stage but have never had the chance to do? I wish I could do what the fantastic folks who run Wardrobe departments experience.

What’s your favorite line in Measure for Measure, and why? “Some rise by sin, some by virtue fall.” I think it’s my favorite because the inherent truth is really palpable on a myriad of societal, personal, and interpersonal levels.

Why should people come see this show? Out of all the Shakespeare shows I’ve had the privilege of working on the theme of abuse of power in this one leaves me most uncomfortable.
