Theatre Unbound is currently casting Sarah Ruhl’s THE CLEAN HOUSE, a comedy about a cleaner who hates to clean, and a love story about the overwhelming power of finding a soulmate. THE CLEAN HOUSE will be directed by Carolyn Levy.

Seeking four actors who identify as female and one actor who identifies as male for the following roles:
LANE: A doctor, a woman in her early fifties.
MATILDE: Lane’s cleaning lady. In her late 20s. Brazilian.
VIRGINIA: Lane’s sister, in her late fifties.
CHARLES: Lane’s husband, a man in his fifties. A compassionate surgeon. Also plays Matilde’s father.
ANA: A woman who is older than Lane. Argentinian. Impossibly charismatic. Also plays Matilde’s mother.
Please come prepared with a joke to tell. At auditions, you will be asked to read scenes from the script.
