1. At this moment, is your house clean? No. I could use the excuse of the two kids, dog, and moving but it’s just how I am in life.
2. What’s your favorite cleaning task? I love doing the laundry. Folding is an almost meditative experience for me plus you can do it while sitting on the couch.
3. What’s your favorite thing about “The Clean House”? Sarah Ruhl’s script is a masterful piece of artistry. There is a purpose and meaning behind every line and her ability to weave in the abstract and sometimes absurd in such an authentic and seamless way is truly brilliant.
4. Why should people come see this show? It checks all the boxes of what good, live theatre has to offer and then some. There’s comedy, drama, jokes, Portuguese, apples, opera to name a few. Also, there is depth to the subject matter that will leave audiences talking about it for days.
