Ms. Poirier has appeared in Theatre Unbound's productions of Broken Peaces, Medea, The Love Talker, Sherry's Basement, Women! Live on Stage!, Boy Gets Girl, Chicks in Space, The Tempest, The Anastasia Trials in the Court of Women, Frankenstein Incarnate: The Passions of Mary Shelley, Brilliant Traces, The Most Massive Woman Wins, and Chemical Imbalance: A Jekyll and Hyde Play. She has also directed and designed costumes and sets for a number of shows. Ms. Poirier received her BFA in Theatre from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She has worked with Homeward Bound Theatre Company and Stage Coach Theatre Arts teaching children's classes and coached the Blaine High School Speech Team for seven years. She has worked in arts administration at Penumbra Theatre, Ballet Arts Minnesota and Minnesota Dance Theatre & the Dance Institute. Currently, she works as a grants coordinator for St. Catherine University and as a role-play actor for Corner House and American Prosecutors Research Institute to help in the detection and prosecution of child abuse.
