Barbara is the immediate past chair of the Theatre Unbound board, and has enjoyed knowing all the board and company members associated with the theater. Now retired and living in Saint Paul, Barbara made her career as a teacher and consultant with nonprofit groups and funders. She specialized in fundraising, planning and board development. She is glad to report that the TU board is one of the best-functioning she's seen, though not always the most conventional, and that Anne and Stacey are two of the most effective and hard-working arts organization managers. She served as adjunct faculty for St. Mary's University and the Center for Nonprofit Management at the University of St. Thomas. She is past chair of the board of directors of Minnesota Citizens for the Arts, a statewide advocacy organization. She holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and has worked in nonprofit management since 1977.
JoAnn, a global general management executive, joined the Theatre Unbound board in 2011.
